BAMA acted as the buy-side M&A advisor to a large motor manufacturer (“MotorCo”):

MotorCo is a leading domestic specialty motor manufacturer. At the time of the initial engagement, MotorCo was exclusively a fractional AC motor manufacturer and wanted to expand their product offering, specifically in the DC market.

On the outset, BAMA worked with MotorCo to identify a specific target profile that aligned with their culture and growth strategy. BAMA designated a deal team to perform in-depth market research to source the top prospects meeting the client’s desired criteria. Through BAMA’s proprietary marketing process BAMA was able to present over a dozen actionable opportunities. MotorCo had options! During a tight timeframe MotorCo was able to conduct management calls and schedule on-site meetings to assess a fit. MotorCo submitted 4 IOI’s and finalized a transaction with one of the companies.

From market prospecting, qualifying, due diligence, negotiations and closing, BAMA acted as MotorCo’s trusted advisor.

Since this initial acquisition, BAMA led and completed two more transactions for MotorCo. And there may be more in the future!
