Management

Take a closer look into the lion's den and meet the individuals that make up Team BAMA.

Matthew Bradbury

Matthew Bradbury

Managing Director — The Rainmaker

As Founder and Managing Director of BAMA, Matt brings over 30 years experience supporting buy-side and sell-side engagements. When he’s not traveling the globe meeting clients or overseeing transaction activities, he’s in the Charlotte office driving business development and supporting client engagements. Matt brings strong experience in a variety of industries including for-profit education, health and fitness, industrial service, motor product, environmental service and various distribution and manufacturing companies.

Prior to founding BAMA, Matt spent 17 years in the fitness industry. Fifteen of those with The Fitness Company where he supported in-house acquisitions and held a variety of leadership roles. When he’s not closing transactions, or meeting strangers (new friends) at various conferences, Matt can be found on the tennis court, playing lion with his six grandkids, tickling the ivories to Elton John or Billy Joel or chasing the red-tail hawks from his prized koi pond. He resides in Charlotte with his college sweetheart and wife of more than 35 years. And he’s a proud “drinker of the Kool-Aid” at Elevation Church.

Ginger Dean

Ginger Dean

Project Manager/Partner — The Juggler

Ginger joined BAMA in 2007 to support marketing initiatives and transaction diligence. She coordinates deal tracking for engagements and is the liaison between BAMA’s clients, their advisors and all other parties. She also creates the Company’s marketing materials and organizes many of BAMA’s outside activities including trade shows, speaking engagements, webinars and closing celebrations.

Ginger received a B.S. in Business Administration (Marketing) from University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She makes a home in Charlotte with her hilarious husband and two adorable sons, Landon and Brooks. Whenever possible, she travels the world, plays volleyball and indulges in chocolate/peanut butter candy. She’s the master strategist and scheduler of everything BAMA and is the only team member that gets to call the boss, Dad.

Bobby Lewis

Bobby Lewis

Partner — The Buy-Side Guru

Bobby splits his time supporting BAMA’s buy-side and sell-side divisions. He manages client engagements, uncovers acquisition targets and supports business development. Bobby oversees BAMA’s buy-side practice, which usually means he’s coordinating search activities for multiple clients and among 2-4 analysts or interns.

Bobby graduated with his B.S. in Business Administration from North Carolina State University and then earned his MBA from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He joined BAMA in 2008, while still in grad school. He relieves work-related stress by kickboxing, banging on the drums and backpacking through the North Carolina mountains.

Richard Sansom, Jr.

Richard Sansom, Jr.

Associate Intermediary

With over 40 years of business experience, Richard uses this knowledge to help business owners recognize the value of their business through a timely transaction. His focus is on new engagement activities and targeting qualified buyers for BAMA’s active sell-side engagements.

After graduating from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Business Administration, Richard went on to earn his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to his role with BAMA, he was the President and Owner of Blanton & Moore Company and was the Division President, and Director of the public company, Kewaunee Scientific Corporation. Richard and his wife have two grown children, Heather and Richie, and love spending time with their grandchildren. If you are in need of someone to split a pile of wood, Richard is your man. He uses that activity to keep his mind, body and ax sharp.

Liz Marcil

Liz Marcil

Marketing Research & Administration — The Hybrid

Liz joined BAMA in 2015 to support both sell-side and buy-side activities - the best of both worlds!  On the buy-side, her responsibilities include market research and company analysis.  On the sell-side, Liz qualifies buyers, supports diligence and drives deal tracking activities for our clients.  Additionally, she leads several of the marketing initiatives for the firm.

Liz is currently completing her MBA at Wake Forest University. With athletics in her blood, she was an accomplished member of Duke University's track and field and cross country teams. Post-graduation she channeled that competitive spirit into coaching for both Duke and Texas Christian University until 2014.  She loves to get outdoors for a run, watch college sports and chase around her six nieces and nephews.

Andrew Yeghnazar

Andrew Yeghnazar

M&A Lead Advisor

Andrew brings diverse experiences operating and managing niche manufacturing businesses, both domestically and overseas.  This proficiency in business operations means clients get more than an investment banker leading their transaction, they get someone who sees what others fail to see, be it international expansion, strategic acquisition benefits or why your business is the ideal target to a strategic buyer.  This knowledge and experience allows him to consult business owners pursuing a grow-through-acquisition strategy or contemplating the sale of their business.  Andrew’s deepest experiences include fluid control distribution and manufacturing, niche manufacturing and specialty industrial products manufacturing.

Andrew is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Owner/Management Program; he also holds a B.A.equivalent in business and finance from Farnborough College (Surrey University - UK). An internationalist, Andrew’s language skills include English, Arabic, Persian, Armenian, French, and Italian.  While M&A is a passion, Andrew’s favorite pastime is spending time with his wife and their three boys.

Steve Stein

Steve Stein

M&A Lead Advisor

As a business owner for 20+ years, Steve understands a business owner’s perspective better than most, having built and sold companies he owned twice.  He uses this knowledge and experience to help owners understand the value of their business, while also leading them through a sales process that protects the owner’s interests.  Steve works on both the buy-side and sell-side to help BAMA’s clients get the transaction that is best for them.

Steve earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati.  (While he learned a few things in college, Steve said most of his management skills were developed watching Michael Scott in The Office or Ron Swanson in Parks & Recreation.)  In his spare time, Steve enjoys playing golf, tennis, and beating his three kids…in sports and games.
